If you are participating in a cash donation sponsorship, you will need to submit a W-9 form when you redeem your award. A W9 form is the most commonly used IRS document that certifies your tax payer identification for your nonprofit organization.
Your completed W-9 form must have an active EIN (employee identification number) from your registered non-profit organization and it must be searchable on the IRS Exempt Organization Select Check website for us to redeem your award. If your EIN is not searchable on the IRS site, but your group is a nonprofit, we will require further proof.
The check will then be sent to the address on your W-9.
